Changi Simei Community Children's Library was officially opened on 17 July 1997, by Mr David Lim Tik En, Member of Parliament for Aljunied GRC. One of a network of 10 Community Children's Libraries (CCLs), this joint project between NLB and the PAP Community Foundation (PCF) aims to bring libraries closer to young children and to inculcate and promote the reading habit at an early age. The theme of the library is 'Animal Forest'. Changi Simei CCL is located at the ground level of Blk 120 Simei St 1.
