Mountbatten Community Children’s Library was officially opened by Mr Eugene Yap Giau Cheng, Deputy Speaker and Member Of Parliment for Mountbatten Constituency on 7 November 1993. One of the of a network of 10 Community Children’s Libraries (CCLs), this joint project between NLB and the PAP Community Foundation (PCF) aims to bring libraries closer to young children and to inculcate and promote the reading habit at an early age. Mountbatten Community Children's Library is located at Katong Community Centre of 51 Kampong Arang Road, Singapore 438178
