Moulmein Community Children's Library was officially opened on 25 February 2001, by Dr Hu Tsu Tao, Minister for Finance and MP for Kreta Ayer –Tanglin GRC. One of a network of 10 Community Children's Libraries (CCLs), this joint project between NLB and the PAP Community Foundation (PCF) aims to bring libraries closer to young children and to inculcate and promote the reading habit at an early age.
The theme of the library, ‘” Colourful World of Festival”, is embodied in the colourful wall murals and furnishings.
Moulmein Community Children's Library is located at the ground level of Blk 52 Kent Road #01-23, Singapore 210052.
