Yuhua Community Children's Library was officially opened on 1 June 1997, by Mr Lim Boon Heng Minister Without Portfolio And Member of Parliment for Bukit Timah GRC. One of a network of 10 Community Children's Libraries (CCLs), this joint project between NLB and the PAP Community Foundation (PCF) aims to bring libraries closer to young children and to inculcate and promote the reading habit at an early age. The theme of the library, 'It's A Small Small World' is embodied in the colourful wall murals and furnishings. Yuhua Community Children's Library is located at the ground level of Blk 229 Jurong East St 21.
